Longitudinal Cutting (Slitting)

Longitudinal Cutting (Slitting)

The slitting process is carried out at ROMNEF's facility using two dedicated lines: BSL 2.00 and BSL 6.00. The raw materials used are hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel strips. The final products are slit coils, obtained by longitudinal cutting. The BSL 2.00 line processes strips with thicknesses ranging from 0.40 to 2.00 mm, with a minimum slit width of 30 mm. The BSL 6.00 line is designed to process thicker materials, with thicknesses between 1.50 and 6.00 mm, maintaining the same minimum slit width of 30 mm. These operations are performed with high precision and are suitable for supplying various industrial sectors requiring narrow steel strips in coil format.
