ROMNEF supplies a broad selection of steel bars with various cross-sectional shapes to meet the needs of multiple industrial and construction applications. We offer round, flat, and square steel bars, all produced through hot-rolling processes and delivered in accordance with European standards.
Round Steel Bars
Our round steel bars are hot-rolled and manufactured with dimensional tolerances according to EN 10060. These bars are available in a wide range of steel grades, including structural steels compliant with EN 10025-2 such as S235JR, S275JR, and S355J2, which are permanently in stock. For applications requiring higher performance, we offer carbon steels for quenching and tempering according to EN 10083-2 (e.g. C45E, C45R), alloy steels for quenching and tempering per EN 10083-3 (e.g. 42CrMo4, 34CrNiMo6-7, 41Cr4), and case-hardening steels according to EN 10084 (e.g. 16MnCr5, 20MnCr5, 18CrNiMo7-6).
Our round bars are available in diameters ranging from 8 to 300 mm and in lengths between 3 and 12 meters, with 6 meters being the standard. The surface condition conforms to class A or B of EN 10221. Dimensional and shape tolerances follow EN 10060. Ultrasonic testing is performed according to EN 10308 for selected diameters. Structural steels according to EN 10025 are delivered with CE marking, a Declaration of Performance (DoP), and Inspection Certificate Type 3.1 in compliance with EN 10204. Some products meet both S235JR and S275JR grades and are suitable for Class III galvanizing as confirmed by the manufacturer's inspection certificate.
Flat Steel Bars
ROMNEF offers hot-rolled flat steel bars in structural steel grades according to EN 10025-2. Commonly available grades in stock are S235JR and S275JR, while S355J2 is available on request. These bars come in thicknesses from 3 to 30 mm, widths from 12 to 200 mm, and standard lengths of 6 meters. Surface quality is in line with EN 10163-2, and tolerances are specified in EN 10058. All products are supplied with Inspection Certificate Type 3.1 per EN 10204, CE marking, and a Declaration of Performance for materials manufactured according to EN 10025. As with round bars, some items comply with both S235JR and S275JR grades and are suitable for Class III galvanizing.
Square Steel Bars
Our hot-rolled square steel bars are also produced according to EN 10025-2 standards. We maintain stock of grades S235JR and S275JR. These bars are available in dimensions from 8 mm to 100 mm, with lengths typically ranging between 4 and 6 meters. Surface quality complies with EN 10163-2, and dimensional tolerances are defined by EN 10059. All square bars are delivered with Inspection Certificate Type 3.1, CE marking, and a Declaration of Performance according to EN 10204 and EN 10025. A number of these products also meet both S235JR and S275JR standards and are suitable for Class III galvanizing.
