ROMNEF supplies a wide range of hot-rolled steel profiles, including standard and European formats, suitable for structural, industrial, and infrastructure applications. The main types available include INP I-beams, UNP U-channels, L-angle sections with equal flanges, as well as European profiles such as IPE, HEA, and HEB beams. We also provide railway rails in standard types: 49E1, 54E1, and 60E1.
The profiles are manufactured from structural steel grades in compliance with EN 10025-2. Our commonly stocked grades include S235JR, S275JR, S275JO, S355JO, and S355J2. The dimensional range is extensive, covering I-beams (INP80 to INP550, IPE80 to IPE600), H-beams (HEA100 to HEA600, HEB100 to HEB600), U-channels (UNP50 to UNP300), and angle profiles (from 20 x 20 x 2.5 mm up to 150 x 150 x 15 mm). Standard lengths are 6.0 m, 6.1 m, 12.0 m, and 12.1 m, with usual length tolerances of -0/+100 mm. Bundle weights typically range between 2 and 5 tons.
Surface appearance conforms to EN 10163-3, and products are supplied in delivery conditions such as +AR or +M, with +AR being the most common. Dimensional and shape tolerances are in accordance with specific European standards: EN 10024 for INP beams, EN 10034 for IPE, HEA, and HEB profiles, EN 10279 for UNP channels, and EN 10056-2 for angle sections. All profiles are delivered with Inspection Certificate Type 3.1 as per EN 10204, CE marking, and a Declaration of Performance (DoP).
Steel profiles from ROMNEF are widely used in civil and industrial construction for columns and beams, as well as in welded or load-bearing structural elements. They are ideal for bridges, viaducts, walkways, slope reinforcements, metal frames, supports, shelving, containers, vehicle chassis, and photovoltaic panel structures.
Railway Rails
ROMNEF also supplies railway rails in standard types 49E1, 54E1, and 60E1. These rails are manufactured from steel grades R260 and R350HT, fully compliant with EN 13674-1. Dimensional specifications also conform to EN 13674-1, ensuring precision and reliability for railway applications. Standard rail lengths range from 12 to 25 meters, depending on customer requirements.
Dimensional and shape tolerances for railway rails are strictly in line with EN 13674-1. These rails are primarily used in railway infrastructure, ensuring durability, stability, and long-term performance for both freight and passenger transport systems.
